Such a happy dog (pics)

Gracie napping, and a couple of her smiling for the camera

Gracie's cherry eye (pics) and one of boxer Ally

Here are a couple pictures of Gracie's cherry eye for those who haven't seen one. Also yesterday I mentioned a recent picture of our boxer, Ally, and I've included it here.

Washington state bulldog vets?

We need to get Gracie's cherry-eye surgically corrected and her normal vet a) has no experience with the tacking procedure and b) wants way too much money for it. For this reason we're looking for someone else within reasonable driving distance (250 miles) who a) is good with bulldog anesthesia b) is good at repairing cherry eyes and c) doesn't want 3 times the normal price for this procedure.

A Hello!

Here is a new picture of my Elsa - she says "Hello" to all of you & sends big slobbery kisses! She's getting soooo big! 50 lbs already at 9 mos!

Tell me the truth,,,

are my pics to expensive? im very willing to lower the cost if it means people will buy them. I got a very nasty email from someone on the board yesterday saying i had no right to sell my pictures for that price because i'm not a "pro' and that no one will buy them because "all teenagers buy drugs, and i don't want my money to go to waste." Just to let everyone know, thats NOT true, i've never done and never will do drugs... and hate it when some people autimatically assume that teenagers are all druggies.

I feel like Grover - ALLERGIC!

Hi guys.

I'm in such a funk. I had to call in sick today because I'm having an AWFUL allergic reaction to something. My lips look like I got collagen injections, my cheeks are chipmunky, my tongue is so swollen I can't really talk... I'm a MESS!

Is My Boy Fat?

Yikes, Sheldon weighed in at the vet yesterday at 62 lbs. He was 55 at his annual checkup in April. The vet thinks he is over weight and recommended he should loose 4 or 5 lbs. It has been my experience that the vets like to keep bullies on the lean side, but the breeders like them to be a litte beefey. Is this true? I personally, don't think Shelley looks fat and had been told he looked a little lean at 55. Wish I had a picture of him at 62, I'll have to take one and post it. Do you think 5 lbs.

Final Vote

Can everyone let me know their final vote on the dog walking versus day care issue (see below)? Want to take all the insight home with me tonight to weigh with my husband and make a decision. Thanks!

For now, the only two options are:

1. Crate every weekday from 8:30-6 with a walker coming for 15 minutes at lunchtime (she has to pull him out of his crate)

2. Do doggy day care twice a week and keep him crated the other 3 days -- with no walk (about 9 hours each day).

Abby's baby Fang tooth broke and there is still a piece

in her gums and the new tooth is already coming through. Do I need to do anthing about this or will it just fall out?

Love,
Amy & Abby

Kris, Butch & Troops..My apologies for delayed response..

Vet advised that a shampoo with detergent will wash the Frontline out of the fur. Even though Arthur is an
Olde, his med fine coat is no more susceptible to
wash out than any other.
I use Episoothe on him 3 times a month, 3-4 days before getting next treatment, I use Scent-A-Way
Liquid soap for a thorough showering. It's antibacterial and deodorizing. Works great!!

Peace
Gregg
