I feel like Grover - ALLERGIC!

I'm in such a funk. I had to call in sick today because I'm having an AWFUL allergic reaction to something. My lips look like I got collagen injections, my cheeks are chipmunky, my tongue is so swollen I can't really talk... I'm a MESS! 
I've never had allergies before. But in 1999, I first discovered I'm allergic to envelope glue. (Yes, like the Seinfeld episode.) It's gone downhill from there as far as things reacting this way.
Sooo... I've met with my PCP this morning and he sent me home with Allegra and a referral to an allergist. I've got a 2pm appointment with the allergist to do a panel. (Is that right?)
I'm both excited to maybe find out WHAT it is that I'm allergic to because I just can't pinpoint it, but I'm worried that they're going to tell me I'm allergic to CHOCOLATE or something. And lemme tell you, that would be the end of the world, as far as I'm concerned. 
I'm also afraid because I HAVE narrowed it down a bit, and it's possible it's a wheat allergy. 
I truly feel like a bullie. Wheats, grains...
At least I can tell Grover that he didn't go thru allergy testing alone now. 
Soooo... I'll be in and out!

sorry you're feeling so sick...my brother has allergies too, so we know how that feels. I hope you feel tons better, and heres a pic to cheer you up:

Well as long as it isn't Grover that you are allergic to...hee hee. Hope they found out what it is!

you know Julia some peole pay huge amounts of money to look like
seriously feel better and it will be good to know what to avoid..and I think there is a law about telling any female they are allergic to chocolate ...something about it not being safe or approved by the insurance companies as safe policy..due to sudden maiming of the docs....grin...good luck..and get well..ce
