Great publicity for the Bulldog breed in general.

Just wanted to give a teeny tiny brag for my newest little girl, Opal, who took a group 1 in her first "B" match held yesterday in Scottsdale. It was her very first show ever....now working on getting her ready for her first point show in April. Since it was a B match, no photos were taken, but here's a couple I took in the backyard...
Thanks for looking everyone!
How many of you have read our standard and have looked at the points,Florence Savage knew the standard by heart. I can not say that but she told me how can you do any breeding if you do not know this standard. It is like trying to build a house without a blue print. Kim
I read this article and it was helpful to those first starting out in Bulldogs. The fundamentals of breeding bulldogs are knowledge, work and luck. The more of the first breeder has.the less of the other two are needed. The reason individuals have for breeding bulldogs arerobably too many and too varied to consider here.but let us hope that a part of each is a sincere effort to better the breed. The initial step toward breeding bulldogs should be thorough knowledge of the Standard for excellence of type in the bulldog.
Just starting to get their sea legs !
While their brother was sleeping the girls were tearing it up!
I'm thinking about purchasing a pedigree software program . Any suggestions ? There's several on the market, I'm wondering if one is better then the others.
Thanks
Margie

In the Des Moines one day show Dusty got her very first point. Unfortunately the weather was so horrible I was one of the very few foolish people to make that drive.. An hour into the two hour trip I was ready to turn around and go home because of the ice, snow and wind.. But the show must go on...lol
