Archived Bulldog Showing Competition

Greetings!

We're considering entering one of our boys in the Veterans class at the Fort Worth Bulldog Specialty, March 15-16, SIMPLY because he always LOVED being in the ring when he was a babe and still LOVES being the center of attention.

Now, did he always act like an angel in the ring for his handler?

Ch Beau's Let It Be Me "CD"

Olivia qualified today for the 3rd leg toward her Companion Dog title. She did it in 4 shows.

In the 3rd show she just made a tiny error that disqualified us. As I was walking behind her, back to heal position after the long sit, she stood up. That's it. The judge looked at me & said...I'm sorry #42. She did the long down just fine. The judge said "exercise finished" and then looked at me again & said...That's such a shame.

Thought I would share a few pic's , we'll be glueing ears later today.
I'm over protective so this was their first time outside.

would lke to share this. Florence Savage was very worried about the nairs on our Bulldogs she noticed threw the years they became more pinched & said the judges must realize this is a 6pt feature and most points on the scale of points. When the bulldog was baiting the bull if this nose was not open he would of sufocated. Why is 6pts given, because the bulldog has a flat throat. This is why we need the nostrils large & wide. What is the meaning of nosehole giving passage of air to the lungs.

I just got another phone call from Emily at CBS--she just called to give me a "heads up" that we MIGHT be called down to LA the end of next week for "semi-finalist" interviews for America's Top Dog. IF we are among the semi-finalists we will probably get a phone call by Monday (or so)...nothing like living by the seat of your pants, the edge of your seat, or something like that!

IS ANYONE IN GREENVILLE THAT CAN POST RESULTS?????????????????OBVIOUSLY I AM NOT THERE-I missed this one-boooooooohooooooo, but I hate this site-if I wanted to climb Mt Everest with a dolley and 3 bulldogs in crates on my back it would be the same equivelant......when I was at this site in July of last year, I almost lost my babies down the hill that goes into the building.

We received this late this afternoon and the meeting is to be on Monday morning at 9:00 am.
