In the Des Moines one day show Dusty got her very first point. Unfortunately the weather was so horrible I was one of the very few foolish people to make that drive.. An hour into the two hour trip I was ready to turn around and go home because of the ice, snow and wind.. But the show must go on...lol

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!
Way to go guys and girl!!! Glad to hear that you made it to the show site and home safely! Now you have a point, the journey begins.
Bestest wishes and CONGRATULATIONS,

Congrats, how many points do you need to
achieve championship for dogs/bitches in your country?

Thanks Nikki

I don't know about that..lol I didn't even realize Jack and Dusty could get a point.. I almost feel guilty...
Instead YOU were the one who got "jilted"!
...to bad, but at least it wasn't a major that was broken!

Real nasty
Cars were stranded everywhere..
ribbons & glory
This time Cheryl, I didn't want to make anyone mad by not showing up. It was going to be a two point show and I thought I would mess it up if I didn't go... So much for that..
Congrats Rod & Kim !!

Rod - no brag is too small, especially when a ribbon is attached
way to go!! now how about some show pics?

Well now I feel guilty
I was one of the no-shows. But in my defense we got twice the ice and snow that Des Moines got.

You are a brave soul
It was ice and snow and blowing down here. Couldn't even get the car out of the driveway until this morning. Just didn't dare venture out as much as I wanted to be there. Congrats to that beautiful girl!!! Someday I will get to see her. I am waiting until April to enter any more shows hopefully by then this mess of a winter will be over.

Thanks everyone..

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!
A win of any kind is worthy of a brag...no win is too small...one point makes the difference often btwn finishing and not finishing...how many of us have spent some time trying to get that one last point? Major hunting is a big deal but man have I heard a lot of folks stuck trying to get that one last point...so LET'S CELEBRATE!

River City made a clean sweep too!!! Enjoy the wins and CONGRATULATIONS!
Right now I'd like to be able to show, period! My right arm is useless with the way it is broken right now and seems to hurt more than it did when I broke it...and I am now out of work on disability. I will have to come up with some money for downpayment on a car...but don't know when I'll be able to drive...or what kind of vehicle I'll be able to afford when I can drive. So, count your blessings! I hope I will be driving again soon, but I swear that this arm hurts more and more and I have no strength in it at all...can't even open a pill bottle. Had to ask for reg. cap not child proof one. I am really nervous about what kind of vehicle I will be able to afford at this point...I'd love to get a mini-van with AWD to have more room for dogs and friends to go to shows and split costs...though that sounds like it will be a year or 2 before I could afford a decent used one and the payments.
Now, entertain me and post your win pictures when you get them!

Pups have to start somewhere. Good for you.
A few years ago I drove to a show in an ice storm. My van actually did a 180*. Felt like slow motion & there was nothing I could do about it. Luckily we just hit a curb & nothing else. No damage. It sure was scary though. Just about crawled the rest of the way. Luckily there was a delay with the start of the show due to the weather. That's the day I was handling Laurie's Mercedes for her because she had to work. We took WB & BOW for a 4 point major.
Sue
Hey
You paid your entry just like everyone else..some chose not to show due to the weather and you chose to take a chance and go..a pt. is a pt. you earned it!
