the people who gave up their time to save this animal. I was not trying to start trouble only call the person on the fact that he was still posting as anonymous with that ridiculous name. My view is that if you really believe that you are right, then be proud enough to own up to it.
I have a hard time beleiving that over 1,000 dollars would have been raised in a matter of days if people knew Cody was going to go to a rescue org instead of someone they knew on the board.
I have seen numerous posts on rescue dogs and they don't even get a response back in the post.
I hope he will find a good home, but this is not what I expected and I am sure not what alot of others expected either.
I have felt very lucky indeed. Usually my son will give me a hard time when we go to eat but that night of the lightening he said sure I'll go. Angel watching indeed...
I have learned early on that what is not 6 feet under is not important. I can replace everything in this house but my family...(yes my babies are included in the family). I feel relieved. We have the crates in our room. It struck like I said in my bathroom a tv we had in the floor that was not plugged in because we had not had the time to switch out tvs was struck by lightening.
Hope Ce is home with Cody.
That she had over 13 hours of driving today, some of it through some bad weather. I am sure that she got home just fine and is dealing with Cody and setting him up for the night. She probably went to bed and will be on the board in the morning. Anyways, I am headed there myself with Diamond and my hubby. I'll check in tomorrow!
we did run into some tornatic weather..which slowed us down ...but are fine in health..heavy in heart....
to start off..Cody in in ER tonight....and will have a vet with him throughout the night...
he rode beautifully for over 10 hours
First off I'll start off by saying I did not contribute to the Cody fund. I feel and still feel a rescue situation should not put money into the hands of despicable breeders. Ever. That this person gained financially from this is disturbing to me.
I am blown away by the good will and nature of the people on this board. It is fabulous.
I'll post this on the medical board too.
I have noticed Gertie has a good size lump on the lower back of her head. (that just came in the last day) Milo once had this on his cheek when he was a young pup and it was the size of a golf ball and I think the vet said it was some type of calcium build up, they gave him a shot and it went away a few days later.. Is this what it is ?
I have tryed to sit back and stay clear of the talks on this situation with Cody from the start. If you notice most my posts were few, yet simple when I did post. I try to post the least on the board of anyone so as I can sit back and look at it from a neutral point. As webmaster I MUST remain fair and equal to everyone and will always do that. I can only call them as I see them and then make a choice on things.
