I have always been a firm believer in not buying pets from pet stores because of where they come from...PUPPY MILLS! We had just started researching breeders in the area. However, it was your basic story...My boyfriend and I went into a pet store where we fell in love with the cutest English bulldog puppy we had ever seen. Our eyes lit up when we saw this little baby who we later named "Scout." I could not bear to leave him there, knowing that he probably came from a puppy mill, and God only knows how he was treated there.
So here I am among friends to let you know that I am VERY upset. I got a call last week from a guy who wanted to bring his Bulldog to rescue. When I asked if the dog was up to date on his shots the guy said no, but he would take care of that. Today the guy calls and wants to bring the dog within the hour. (Nothing like giving a person some notice about these things!) I said OK. I am appalled at the condition this dog is in. He looks like he had been in a shelter for a period of time. He needed a bath really badly.
Hope Cody is feeling OK and ce I haven't seen you on today at all, hope everything is ok
and of course it would be right here with my favorite bullies and their two leggers....smile
....I don't have enough time to read any posts.drats and drouthers..my mum was under the weather today... ..and now it's meds all round for the yelps...but I wanted to update all on Cody...
We just got home from the beach...
Gertie loved it.. She's still not sure of what to make of the ocean but Gertie loves to get Dirty and dig dig dig!!!
I haven't posted in a while, but I thought I'd share some pics of Emmie this afternoon playing with her giant ball from PetSmart. She LOVES it so much that if I don't take it away from her and let her rest now and then, I'm afraid she'd work herself into exhaustion! The funny thing is that I didn't order the ball, but PetSmart screwed up and included it in an order of mine in place of something else... it turned out to me a nice mistake because it's her favorite thing. By the way, Emmie turned 1 this month...

When it comes to cleaning bulldog's ears, are there any suggestions?
Are there any cleaning products preferred by anyone?
How often do you clean?
Spencer gets buildup in his ears quite often. Right now I use antibacterial wet ones to clean. Should I be using these?
Thanks
Boo has developed a raspy cough. She also threw up twice today, yet still seems playful. What are all the symptoms of kennel cough? Thanx.
