when he sleeps. It has been raining non-stop here it seems like forever. Its even been a little chilly. I figured he may be developing a little cold. Is this maybe whats going on with Boo?
As far as the throwing up thing....Henry eats grass when he doesnt feel good and it causes him to throw it up. I have heard that a dog will eat grass when their tummy is upset.
Wish I could help more, but I sure hope she feels better soon! Give her some Popeyes and a big hug for me!

My little hand steam cleaner is in overdrive. The odd time they vomit food but it is mostly white flemmy substance. It sounds like a cat trying to bring up a furball. Cough syrup, and a little steamer/humidifier works well. The vet will prescribe anti biotics and they will take 2-3 days before any noticeable difference. Rugby was playing for the first time in a week yesterday afternoon. Very contagious so if one dog has it, both will get it.

Below is copy and pasted from Merck's website detailing the clinical findings, or symptoms, of kennel cough:
<The prominent clinical sign is paroxysms of a harsh, dry cough, which may be followed by retching and gagging. The cough is easily induced by gentle palpation of the larynx or trachea. Development of more severe signs, including fever, purulent nasal discharge, depression, anorexia, and a productive cough, especially in puppies, indicates a complicating systemic infection such as distemper or bronchopneumonia.>
With the mention of retching and gagging from this medical source, it is possible that vomitting is present with kennel cough.
Thanx everyone!
