Ears are a nasty breeding ground for yeast and bacteria so a weekly routine of squirting in an ear wash and cleaning afterwards will help keep the build up and gunk from becoming bad.

I know, I know, I sound like a broken record but IMO, the best ear wash solutions are Epi Otic or Nolvasan, available without an rx and can be purchased on-line at great prices. Both have ingredients to help stop yeast and bacteria and can also be used to clean facial folds, in between toes and even under the tail pocket.

I have used Epi Otic once a week and Sumo has never had an ear infection except for when he was a young pup and before I started using that product.

Veterinarians Best Natural Care; it comes with an ear wash and then you put in the ear dry, its a liquid that turns to a powder. I do it once a week and my ice has the cleanest ears going! lol I purchased it at petco

It's a new formula, the vet said it's great because it doesn't irritate the dogs ear like most do, you just squirt a drop down the ear and you dont have to worry about dabbing it or wiping it - it just does the trick on it's own!

I just use a baby wipe to clean Milo's ears, but the vet did give me some good ear wash that you just drop down the ear once a week and it does it's magic, you may want to pick up something like that from the vet ?!

Highly recommend you follow Sue's suggestion, Vets will recommend the same thing - preventative measures
