Archived General Bulldog Chat

My grandparents live in Toronto Canada-about a 10 hour drive from Chicago. I was thinking about driving to visit them over the 4th of July because my grandpa isnt doing so well. Does anyone know off of the top of there heads if I can bring Winston into Canada and if so what sort of documentaion I need?

Many of you have probably been affected by AKC's backlog on the paper work processing.

They say it's back to normal but the fax system is still out.

If you are late with papers, waiting for some to arrive, be patient and considerate to the great people at AKC. Also go easy on the breeder. He/she is not telling stories when they say they, the papers, are late coming.

Our bulldog bitch, Ch. DK's Ph.D., (Smarty),
was Pedigree's Top Producing Bulldog Bitch for 2002. She produced three champions of record within one litter/one year. Sire was Ch. Littlepond's Chief,
also listed as the top producing male bulldog for the same year.
Smarty is owned by Joann Menefee of Phenix Bulldogs.

my throat didn't hurt anymore, and so i went over to the house and babysat the kids till 8:30, then it was time for their bed....the bulldog fun began! the younger bully girl, Betty, was such a sweetie!

Josie is pg as stated earlier and due in 2 weeks but this morning she has the runs and I have watched what I fed her all day and she still is runny. I don't want to give he anything to hurt her pups the Question is do you think pumpkin would work on her or should I give her some of the yougurt culture (acidomphis)sp. She has a stomach of iron never any problems.

Question is - what type of brush is the best to use?
I have noticed Brushing Milo with anything works, but Gertie is so hard to brush, it seems like my hand takes off more hair than the brush. Is it because she's so small ?

And also I know this has been brought up 8 million times but I rarely paid attention because it wasnt that big of a problem. Is there Anything I can put in their food to help reduce the shedding, or is it something we have to wait out since summer is on its way!

I was over my dad's for fathers day and of course Bulldozer came along. The first thing he does is go right to Brandy's dog dish and ate EVERYTHING. Poor Brandy was out back on his run because she was never trained properlly and would jump all over everyone because she is just so excited to see everyone. My dad thinks his dog can do no wrong and that this dog invented sliced bread. So dad was not too happy his pup was out back and there is Bulldozer making himself right at home.
