Kim and I, like you, are new to the bulldog world. We became immersed in it abit over a year ago. We currently have a 21 month old male, Winston, a 10 month old female, Dutchess, and a 7 month old male , Storm. While we have not began to actively breed, when we get the right combination, we hope to become reputable breeders. That being said, please accept my humble apologies for the child-like behavior that some of our more experienced members have exibited.

How about a discussion on what people feel should be covered, if anything, as a responsible breeder goes? And to what extent? A full refund, partial, help with vet expenses? And what ailments? If a dog develops epilepsy? entropian? Cherry eyes? mange? severe skin allergies? inter-digital cysts? a compromised breathing system? hip dysplasia? these are just off the top of my head. What is ethical for some is not for others.(unfortunately)

First, I want to say a big “THANK YOU!” to all of you seasoned veterans out there who have shown this newbie what backbiting, two-faced, self-important jerks you can all be.

I’ve met most of you at shows, asked for advice, was told by you what a great organization the BCA and its members all are. And then as soon as you turn around, you can’t wait to shove each others faces in the dirt, kick each other in the backside, and spit on one another. Thanks for the great example you set.

What is your opinion on breeding a healthy, good temperment, conformationally correct bitch that was not shown due to wryness? (wry at a young age-6 months)

When is this nonsense going to end? Every other week, something new starts, sparks fly and the fire ignites into an explosion.

People should not form opinions of others based on the internet. I have known Sharon and Scooter for quite a few years. I have been to Sharon and Scooter's home several times in Colorado. I always enjoyed spending time with them. Their dogs live in their home with them and are well cared for. Just didn't want people to get a wrong impression based on this thread. This is not personal on my part. I understand their anger and frustration but also understand that there seems to be an issue and that with a formal complaint had to be entertained.

I am quite frankly sick at heart about the whole situation. But I am not really posting this in direct response to the Div 4/Lynn incident (I maintain that this should never have aired publically.. I choose to stay in the dark, this is none of any of our business...).. but I did read the posts.. it's like a car wreck, you don't want to see, but you still look.

Dear Everyone,

Cascade Bulldog Rescue is looking for volunteers to sit in our booth during Nationals. Especially for Oct 3 & 4th. I usually spend most of my time in the booth but those two days I will not be able to. The Rescue parade will be in the early afternoon of the 3rd.

I feel it needs to be stated that I just learned that Elaine Andrew had asvised the board not to take action against the Lynn's.
She stated, according to my sources that " I do not know why this board is even considering this action".
