Dear Everyone,
Cascade Bulldog Rescue is looking for volunteers to sit in our booth during Nationals. Especially for Oct 3 & 4th. I usually spend most of my time in the booth but those two days I will not be able to. The Rescue parade will be in the early afternoon of the 3rd.
I will be leaving the show grounds early Wednesday morning and traveling to Pullman, WA, south from Spokane, to the WSU Vet Clinic to pick up our Bulldog mix, Wyatt for the parade that afternoon. Wyatt will be at the Vet Clinic for 3 weeks starting Sept 10 for Radiation Therapy. He had two small tumors removed, one on his leg and one on his flank. Two weeks ago he had one the size of a Russet potato removed from his right scapula and behind it. It came back as a Grade III Mast Cell Tumor. Wyatt is 10 1/2. Yesterday he had all of his pre WSU work ups and I am very happy to say that everything has come back good!! Ultra sounds of liver and spleen, xrays of his chest and abdomen and his Buffy Coat profile blood work was excellent as well. We are already feeding him a special Cancer diet from the "B Naturals" website.
Wyatt & Winston were at the Nationals in Portland in 2007 as "unofficial" rescues. They will both be there as offical rescues this time. They are both 10 1/2 and this will more than likely be their last National.
Anyway the Vet Clinic technician has already approved Wyatt leaving the clinic and returning the following day so he can continue his treatment.
That is the main reason Cascade especially needs your assistance those two days. I will personally be forever grateful to anyone that can give an hour or so of their time, especially those two days.
Thank you
