Our Breed The Bulldog should be protected by us. Just ask yourself this question before you breed. Am I willing to take all these puppies back if the homes I put them in can not keep them. If your anwer is no of course I cannot take all these puppes back then you have no business breeding this wonderful breed. Many people breed them for money and as soon as something goes wrong with the pup it becomes the owners problem. I do rescue so you see I know what I am talking about. Have I bred, yes but with the guidance of a breeder.

Although it sure was a fun trip out to NYC for the Westminster Kennel Club show this year, I am very happy to be home. Going out to the Garden specialty (Bulldog) on the Saturday was priceless as it always is to be able to see the dogs in a particular area in person. There were some very nice dogs and bitches and it was a pleasure to see many friends that I don't see often.

With Westminster and all the hooplah over I have taken a few moments to reflect the Bulldog's life at Westminster.. In a movie. . . "27 dresses!" Why does it always seem that the Bulldog is always the Bride's maid but never the Bride?

Is there anyone else out there that feels the same?
