..sorry to keep bugging you..
Where is the show? Town.. venue...
Thank you!
Hindquarters
Legs
The hind legs should be strong and muscular and longer than the forelegs, as to elevate the loins above the shoulders. Hocks should be slightly bent and well let down, so as to give length and strength from the loins to the hock. The lower leg should be short, straight and strong, with the stifles turned slightly outward and away from the body. The hocks are thereby made to approach each other, and the hind feet to turn outward.

Does anyone know if there is a list of the Vendors that are attending this years Nationals?? I have several large items I need to pick up and I'm willing to wait but I want to be sure that the Vendors will be there. My other question is about teenagers! My 16 year old son is interested in going but doesn't want to be the only teen there. Do many teens attend?? He would only miss 2 days of school and I think it would be a great experience since he is just starting to show!
So, I'm gearing up to pack for Nationals week. We aren't too far away (about an 8 hour drive), but I'm sure I'll have the car packed to gills with crates, grooming stuff, food, dog beds, toys, people clothes, etc. Oh, and a few doggies.
In thinking about what to pack, I wondered what are some of the odd items you all might bring to help get you through the week.
does an outstanding job . I sit in at every National and am very interested each and every time.
Check and see when it is available and try to be there as it is a very informative slide and talk program she has put together.
I think my 1 year old Teela has some really great strong points but she also has weak points like any other dog. I'm new at showing as well as learning more about the breed in general. After doing research on the breed I'm finding that her head is not correct, her nose isn't layed back enough. I look from the front and she looks pretty good, square, good jaw, ears look correct, it's her profile that doesn't look great. Also, what about female vs. male?
Forequarters
Shoulders
The shoulders should be muscular, very heavy, widespread and slanting outward, giving stability and great power.
Forelegs
The forelegs should be short, very stout, straight and muscular, set wide apart, with well developed calves, presenting a bowed outline, but the bones of the leg should not be curved or bandy, nor the feet brought too close together.
Elbows
The elbows should be low and stand well out and loose from the body.

My girl Sophie was invited to the Atlantic Top Dog Awards last weekend. To be invited you have to have won a Best Puppy in Group in the maritime provinces in Canada. Sophie has 2 BPIG and a BPIS under breeder judge Chris Neilson. She is just over a year old now. At the Atlantic Top Dog Awards, Sophie took a group 2. This is an unofficial CKC event but it was a lot of fun nonetheless. She was judged by 3 judges and given a score by each judge and the scores are then added together. There are 9 in the photo due to 3 rings being judged at the same time.
What activity besides anything to do with Nationals are you most looking foward to when you arrive in Kansas City?
I am curious to know how people view our city.
Looking forward to seeing and meeting you,
Lisa
