I found this post on another site while reading old posts by one of my mentors Linda Stonehocker. Very interesting article. Be sure to read the follow up post by Linda, very thought provoking as always. Linda was a treasure...

I can't remember if I posted her registered name, if not it is ButlerBullz Nothing To Sneeze At. Pepper is such a sweet girl and she's really smart, she already knows how to sit, heal and we are working on stand.
This shot makes her head look huge and her body look tiny, but it's just the angle.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Hi, I am new to showing dogs and am just doing some research. My question is regarding nose ropes. I have noticed that most show dogs have a single nose rope rather than a split nose rope. Is a single nose rope preferred in the ring or is it just a coincidence?
Could some of you please let me know how long can a bulldog stay out in this weather. A puppy buyer of mine just called and asked. They take an hour walk everyday with their bulldogs and wanted to know what the temperature should be to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
