Here two recent houseguests of mine.

Roscoe, age 5, was surrendered because his owner had a serious medical condition. He is now with a family of 4, and loves to sleep in a red race car bed with a 9-year-old boy who adores him.



Lexus, age 10, goes to her new family tomorrow. This girl was covered with fleas and flea bites when she was surrendered to a shelter. She is bright-eyed and quite lively.

Have you seen any gender specific things ? Like ....are the boys are girls more hyper/crazy ? Are the boys are girls more loveable ? aggressive ? snuggly ? Do you think it just depends on the specific dog ? or have you found differences between M & F bullies ? Just curious )

A Dogs Purpose

Dog's Purpose? (from a 6-year-old).

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

And today is our 44th Wedding Anniversary!
Who can top that?

today is the first day since I got her I had to leave her home when I went to work, as many of you know she goes to doggie day care b.c. of my long commute, we do close at 3pm on fridays for the summer and I am sneaking out a little early to get home, I feel so bad she was sitting on the landing waiting for me and I had to just leave her there.. but Vet feels she has a sprain or soft tissue tear and b.c.

is looking for love!
