Well, I did not want to go here just yet as I'm still working some details and stuff but since there is several posts on it below I figured I would let you know what is in the works and has been for 3 weeks now. We have decided to do a emergency fund.

Just the other night, Lizzy and I were out for her nightly walk (we usually take the same route through our complex, where we come out by one of the parking lots between two buildings).

As I was slightly in front of her, I turned to see Lizzy just approaching the big concrete step in front of the door to one of the buildings, when she froze in horror. There it was. A big white plastic garbage bag!

I just read all the posts down below, and I am kind of hurt. I never said that I was expecting any money for vet bills, or toys, or anything. Someone brought it up, so I asked. My husband and I are prepared to take on whatever Cody needs and we knew that going into this. I feel like I am being made out to be this selfish person, when all I want to do is give Cody a home.

I am not sure which forum to post this question. As most of you know I have started showing Diesel. My 10yr old daughter appears to be very interested and wants to try it. I notice at shows they will have a special time and ring for the juniors. Does she need her own dog or could she use Diesel? I really want to expose her to this while she is showing some interest. It would be a great mother daughter bonding time. Besides it beats coloring or playing monopoly.LOL

This is Poppy a pony we found in an abandon barn-house. you can see his back is almost hitting the ceiling! and today--yippee--a year later the man who had him went to court and paid for his cruelty to this poor pony. Lots of work but alot of friends like this board got it done with the help of everyone and donations to get poppy better. He now has a wonderful home, blankets ,food and all the medical attention any animal could possibly want. Happy Ending!!!

Looks like I'll have to get some Apple Spray Ms.Gertie loves the new furniture!
Or any other secret recipes that wont stain the furniture ?

Turns out my husband doesn't want our puppy (who comes home in TWO DAYS!!!) to be named Lola... so now we're debating between DAISY or MAGGIE, or looking for some other suggestions. The criteria is that it be short, sweet and sound ok in Spanish and English (since she will be partly Mexican now, he he he) Any ideas?
