and a bit ago...I finished feeding all the yelpster gumbo gang..and then they all plop and nap..
well Cody wanted to play..and went to each sleeping yelp and barked at them...they just rolled over..so he went to the next and the next..and a sharp loud bark ....two times and each sleeping snoring furball...

Webbie is getting restless now!! at 108 degrees today i get the summer bug!

What the heck do you do w/your dogs in this heat?

I'm heading out to the BIG city of Barstow (I was born and raised there to visit my parents next weekend. My hubby and I want to take Bailey with us but are concerned about the heat. It's only for the weekend.

you how funny my Ice is. First of all, tonight he saw his first live lobster! Well let me tell you, he was scared silly! He ran around like crazy, ears back, the tail that he thinks he has between his legs, and he was barking like crazy. He is hiding and won't come out!

Next week. Just wondering....we will be there and would love to meet anyone from this board that may also be going.

Does anyone have a good remedy for treating these? In our new home the grass and my five-year-old bulldog's feet do NOT get along and she develops cysts between her toes. Currently, I give her benedryl to keep her from itching (and licking it). Any ointments or home remedies or suggestions out there?

Elizabeth posted that POO saved her life. That soak in the tub sounds so wonderful Elizabeth!! I wonder, if after the house quiets down tonight if I might.....
nope, something will happen and I will have to get right back out again.
Anyway, my question is about the fragrance. Is it a light fragrance? I have lung disease, and a strong fragrance makes it difficult for me to breathe. And hubby gets an asthma attack around strong frangrances.
Anna, do you think that your POO with frangrance would be OK for us?

I really hate to post this. Betty asked if Cody's barking means that he might be getting his hearing back. Oh, my, I really pray that this is the case!!
But, Dipper is deaf and she barks to tell us she wants out or wants something from us. Although I will say that her bark is not very loud as compared to the other Bullies when they are trying to tell me something.
I am keeping Cody and Ce in my daily prayers.

I've been so busy at work, with little time to post, but have a quick question. Is anyone aware of any type of device to keep Sheldon cool outside (other than a cooling mat or bandana)? I'd like to take Sheldon with me to a softball game on Saturday, but it is already in the 90s down here in south Florida. Thanks.
