I was reading the posts to the new poll...all about yourselves. I am really glad that you all answered. It gives us a chance to know each other a little better.
I was surprised by how many of you who answered live in the Chicago area. I was wondering if any of you would be interested in helping with rescue. I am getting to the point where I need some foster homes. If any of you are interested, please email me privately.

Here in NJ, we are having a big storm, and I am a little scared of them. I can't watch TV, the satellite is out. There's Sammy, snoring away, it doesn't even phase him.

In the last 24 hours, I've gotten bombarded w/ emails from folks worried about that crazy pooch of mine (Lucy) Some are worried that I'm going to hurt her, blaming me for not training, etc...

First, she is housebroken. She's only peed in the house twice in the last month.

Secondly, this the first destroyed shoe (albiet a $600 shoe).

Third, we do only train for about 10 minutes at a time. We just do it all day.

And most importantly, NO I DON'T WANT TO GIVE HER AWAY!!!!

The novel is set during the early days of the Civil War and the scene would involve a draw bridge across a narrow river traversed by shrimp boats, etc. Thanx.
