Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:27pmIn the last 24 hours, I've gotten bombarded w/ emails from folks worried about that crazy pooch of mine (Lucy) Some are worried that I'm going to hurt her, blaming me for not training, etc...
First, she is housebroken. She's only peed in the house twice in the last month.
Secondly, this the first destroyed shoe (albiet a $600 shoe).
Third, we do only train for about 10 minutes at a time. We just do it all day.
And most importantly, NO I DON'T WANT TO GIVE HER AWAY!!!!
I appreciate the concern, but we're doing great.
Having said that...none of you would really want her anyway. She HATES other dogs. We are training to socialize her on that as well.

Take things way to literally. You probably did get some great training tips in the process though. It would be worth the venting for that aspect alone. Not to worry. Our dogs are like our kids. Actually when I do get frustrated and raise my voice the dogs act so concerned about me being upset. The kids, they really don't seem bothered by me at all. Go figure!

I'd be venting too if my dog ate $600 worth of anything!!!!! Just keep up with the training and positive reinforcement, and lock away the good stuff grin

If you add up
all the shoes Daisy has eaten it has probably been $600 worth!! But I too wouldn't trade her for the world!! Vent anytime....

just ignore them...my favorite response to flame tossers..is my trusted handy dandy, never fails, doesn't talk back,never bites DELETE button..

I know you did not mean it. Shoots girl if I had a $600 pair of shoes eaten I wouldve been a little off too! ha ha he he...lucky my feet are too big to have an expensive shoe fetish...

Winston loves shoes can't seem to break him of it-so when we decide to take them off they go right in the closet or up on a table-
He hates bitter apple but not if its on shoes lol!
