I just got up and turned on the news, after walking our boy Stuart, and they had a piece on a man who was arrested for animal cruelty. Apparently he was selling bully pups on the internet. Someone who went to his house to buy one called the police to report "awful conditions." They arrested him, after finding 13 pups, a number of cats and two dead puppies in the house. The house was very dirty and smelled very badly.

I just got my mail, and the vet sent me a reminder card for Ruby's vaccinations, and it also says she is due to be SPAYED! She will be 4 months (actually 16 weeks depending on how you count it) on Saturday. Am I crazy or is it too soon? I was thinking 5 months, or between 5 & 6. Now I am having stress, somebody HELP!

Glen went to Honolulu today for a business meeting, calls me up to tell me he just bought a new Mercedes Convertible, WITH NO BACK SEAT FOR MILO AND GERT!

I've been working with AKC for a few months about
getting Arthur registered in their FSS program.
E-mail from dept. yesterday advising papers on way.
WOO-HOO! If accepteed after review, he would be able to compete in the local AKC shows in the Miscellaneous
Class. Otherwise, we have to drive to St.Louis.
Anyhoo, wish us luck with review.

Today, being the good bully momma I am I decided to pick Daisy up some Nylabones -- I got the non-edible ones. One is flavored Liver and the other Chicken -- Well, Daisy could care less about them! Ugh! I didn't want to get the edible nylabones because I had before and they break off in small pieces all over my house. So my question is, how can I get her interested in them. I thought I read somewhere on the board before where some of you put them in the microwave -- what does that do to them???

Boo's all time favorite novel and all time favorite movie are To Kill A Mockingbird. And second only to Jif the Jar, Gregory Peck was her favorite actor. Most of you have probably already heard the news. He passed away today at age 87.
