good cause and great art!

i found this woman on ebay. she was selling a painting of her bulldog rosie and her ad said that she would do custom work.

i wanted to get one done of farcus for ron, for dad's day so i emailed her. couldn't be nicer. i sent a couple of pics in and she chose one and the painting was WOW! we love it!

she's raising the money for rosie's hip surgery. check out this link to her newest ebay ad. i just thought that the people here might want to support a great (i think) cause!

Re: Zoom Groom

Thank you Melanie! Now I know what you are talking about. I have seem them in the pet stores. My next trip I will have to pick one up.

Re: Brushing and Shedding....Lisa

In answer to your question, White dogs have more hair per square inch than dogs of color. Therefore they have more hair to shed. That is why Sunflower sheds more from her shoulders and head (which are white) than she does from her body (which is red). And Daisy, my all white girl sheds a lot more than Sunflower or any of the other dogs who are fawn, red, brown, etc.
I am sure the white hair shows more just because it is white. But there is also more of it.
I hope this helps!!

Derm Caps

Does anyone use Derm Caps? Is this a good substitute for the Missing Link? What about Pet Tabs. I hate those messy powders. Is it really necessary to use supplements when feeding a quality food? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone know of a dog friendly hotel in Toronto Canada?

That would be great-I have found two-one being the Four Seasons-although i think it would be great fun to stay at the Four Seasons with my dog-it is way way abover our price range! (450 a night considering they are running great deals because of Sars-normally 800)!

Thanks guys-
