Archived Bulldog Showing Competition

First day of the weekend cluster and we have "2" new Ch.'s!!! Today under Chuck Winslow Alfalfa went WD & BOW and then Gracie went WB & BOS to finish their championships!! Now we have two days to get the last point on Mona and she will be done too!! Hoping to come home with 3 new Ch.'s this weekend!! Congrats to everyone else so far and Good Luck the rest of the weekend!!

I just called 1 (916) 444-4429 the California Tourism Dept.
I informed them I would not be coming back to CALIF for any type of
vacation. I was told to contact LaVines office, but I would not take that
for an answer. I told them I wanted the Calif. Tourism dept to KNOW why I
would not come and where my money would be missing from.............
gasoline, food, lodging and event parks like Disneyland or Knottsberry Farm.

Everyone needs to call this number........ be polite. Just firm in letting

Hello! How do I find a handler for shows? I am not quite sure where to look. I went to the AKC site, but nobody was that close to me (unless that does not matter...)

Mary called to say Cooper had taken a BIS today in Gridley, then told me not to go into labor! LMAO!
HUGE congrats to Mary and Rick! It's funny Mary and I were just talking the other day about BIS wins and how things just seem to align and make it happen. It has been fun watching this boy go from his BIS puppy at 12 weeks in Dixon to his BIS now.

Finally posting a few pix of Pip taken a couple weeks ago when the irises were in bloom. Pip is 21 mos old and is finally putting some weight on (she still needs a few more pounds but she's a picky one!)

AKC DELEGATE BODY PASSES RESOLUTION OPPOSING CA AB 1634

What can I say? Oh....my. Not a class for bulldoggers! Nutmeg and I did just fine, but it was so different from what Jeff and Winn have taught me so far. It was mostly retreivers and terriers, and the instructor is a well-known Lab handler. I have never seen so much bait being thrown all over the place! It was more like a buffet than a handling class. I don't know much, but I know that isn't how I've seen the bulldogs handled at the shows I've watched.
