Responsibility of Breeding

Our Breed The Bulldog should be protected by us. Just ask yourself this question before you breed. Am I willing to take all these puppies back if the homes I put them in can not keep them. If your anwer is no of course I cannot take all these puppes back then you have no business breeding this wonderful breed. Many people breed them for money and as soon as something goes wrong with the pup it becomes the owners problem. I do rescue so you see I know what I am talking about. Have I bred, yes but with the guidance of a breeder.
If your answer is yes I want breed then your responisibilty is great. As this trust has been given to all of you by all the breeders of yesterday . They have worked long and hard pulling these dogs out of the fighting pits to give you the wonderful breed you have today. Protect your little friend and always remember you should leave the breed better than you found it!

I agree completely... my contract has both a writen health guarantee and also a requirement that the dog be returned to me for ANY reason you cannot or do not want it any longer. Both items help protect the dog as its not rescues responsibility to handle my puppies/dogs.
