This is Brakus and he is hiding from the loud booms.(it was storming outside)

My Nigel has been limping for quite some time now. He was put on rimadyl? for pain. But still the limping. He will be 2 on July 5 and weighs 60lbs. I had xrays done by Nigels regular vet (not a bulldog specialist but great none the less). He sent them to an orthopedic surgeon who says luxating patella. I live in Sarasota, FL and would like to see if any of you would recommend a specific vet or orthopedic surgeon in my vicinity? I will get a second opinion before doing anything. The price I was giving would be around $1500. Sound right? Thanks so much.

I haven't been posting as much lately. I am in summer school and it is a lot more work than I thought it would be. At least I get to graduate next year. Diamond is so frustrated. She looks at me like, "Mom it's summer! You know you are supposed to be spending all your time with me!!" I feel so bad! Anyways I have some great pics of her and will be posting them soon!

Gee, thanks for the great welcome! My bullie's name is Ice, he was born 1-2-03 and he is white and fawn. For the life of me I can't figure out how to post a pic!!! Hell, I can't even figure out how you guys insert the different smileys in your post!!!LOL I am in NY and was wondering if any other bullie owners from NY are here...I don't know any other bullie owners. I'm actually in the process of looking for another bullie so Ice can have another playmate (or is it me..lol) Look forward to being part of the group, thanks guys!

Oh, dear Kris!!
I am so very sorry to hear abut Georgia! Please know that she is in my daily prayers for a healing miracle!
I do know that healing miracles happen because I happen to be one. With all of us here praying for Georgia, if it is in His plan to save her He will do as we ask.
I know of another Bulldog who had near fatal pneumonia, and the bully pulled through. I pray that this will happen for Georgia.

Great news! Leeloo slept throught the night for the first time. We went to bed at 10:30pm and she didn't get me up until almost 8:00am AND no accidents in her crate!!! Awwww, my little baby is growing up!
