Snuggs says Hello to the new addition pic!

My boston Izzy had her puppy via c-section today. It is a brindle girl with great markings and a haggerty spot on her head like I wanted. This is her second litter and there was only one last time.No more pups for Izzy.Anyways I always let Snuggs say hello to the new little ones but just for a minute. She is great with babies. The last litter of pups when they were bigger I would find Snuggs in the crate loving on them.Don't worry I watch her at all times so no one is hurt.Hope you like the pic. Thanks!

I have questions re aftercare after a spaying

We are going to get Lily spayed soon. I need to know what is all involved with the aftercare. Since she is an outside dog, will she need to stay inside and for how long. What kind of care will the wound need. I am trying to arrange this so that I can spend as much time as possible with her.

ear temperature

What is a normal ear temperature for a 4 mos. old puppy? I'm just wondering whether mine cutie has a fever?
Thanks for your help.

Update - Molly ... Also, ATT Helen (long)

Hi Helen, the hubby and I are thinking about taking off Wends and going to the vet you mentioned, could you give me the name and the address, I mapped Woodbury and its 1 hr away, which doesnt seem to bad.

Spot on side -- cross post

Daisy has a spot on her side that concerns me.I tried to take a pic of it but it didn't turn out well. Urgh! Anyways, a while back I took Daisy to the vet and he told me it was an infected hair follicle and not to worry that it would go away. That was 6 wks ago!! It hasn't gone away and has gotten bigger. It now is about the size of a nickel and she is beginning to lose the hair on it. It is also somewhat scaley and pink, but it isn't broken open and bleeding or anything. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?? Thanks!

Some questions??

i know this is probobly on the info page, but i would like some personal preferance...
when you chose your puppys (or dogs) what drew you to them? how do you choose a dog with good personality?

Poor Pride .....

I was trying to unload the car from our trips back and forth to the lake (thunderstorms have moved in and the guys are coming home today anyway).

But Pride, ever hopeful, climbed into the front seat .. anticipating I'd get in the car too and we'd head back out to camp. She had a blast this weekend! So congenial and well-behaved .. I couldn't ask for a better pooch!
