I am very excited to say it is just a stressed muscle he is on an anti-inflamitory for 10 days and then the vet thought he should be just great =) So good news all around.

I was reading old posts and there was discussion about how much rescues cost, etc....

In my case, I got sooooo lucky. I got a great rescue. young (she wasn't a year old yet) smart, housebroken. A real joy. We all love puppies, but there's a whole lot of dogs who need a home and it all worked out. Just gotta have faith!

I had a friend who managed a pawn shop and I can tell you I don't care how big the diamond is in that ring, she will not be able to get enough money to pay that vet bill. You get such a small percentage of what the item is worth and then the interest payments are so large, you could almost buy a new one. Ce please do not do this.

Okay, taking a quick break to keep my sanity. I'm cooking for about 100 people tonight. Nothing fancy, but I'm SO stressed out. How do I get myself into these things?

To keep this bulldog related, I was trying to sleep in a little extra this morning because I knew what I had ahead of me. Of course Ruby has to wake me earlier than usual talking like Chewbacca telling me to take her out. I love that dog, but waking up with Chewbacca every morning does work my nerves sometimes.

A group formed together, to give him a new start

His past was filled with neglect and abuse
His owner was rotton, and had no excuse

His life started bright, until it was all ripped away
No food, love, or shelter and studded everyday

Many years of his life he would spend in that awful place
Unitl some stragers rescued him and saved his beautiful grace

He was brought to a new loving home, where he could get a fresh new start
