A note about Rescues...
Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:27pmI was reading old posts and there was discussion about how much rescues cost, etc....
In my case, I got sooooo lucky. I got a great rescue. young (she wasn't a year old yet) smart, housebroken. A real joy. We all love puppies, but there's a whole lot of dogs who need a home and it all worked out. Just gotta have faith!

Spike has been a nightmare with the bills and issues~~all unknown to me when I got him and the rescue told he was "fine", yet he was at the Vets not even a week later and on a regular basis ever since!
However, my other rescue dog has been a breeze, healthy, and full of life.
I believe Kris posted that they're like a "box of chocolates" and so true, isn't it?
