Jake is Under the Weather :(

Strange, last 72 hours with Jake.  Thursday, he was a bit moody and decided it was the right time to chew up his bed.  He broke it open and was able to get a bit of stuffing out.  As I discovered him with a mouthful of the stuffing, which reminded me of him eating Cotton Candy, I thought I got it all from him. As the night grew old and it was time for him to go to bed, we put him in his crate.  We woke up the next morning to find he had eaten a small strip of his blanket in the crate.  Today, he threw up four times about an hour after breakfast.

Zapper's final resting place is complete now (pic)

I had ordered a marker for him and got it placed this weekend.

There's a bush planted behind the marker that will grow to a good size in time. Zapper loved playing in bushes :)

Now my baby boy can rest in a nice, shady and wooded area, with his own street name and those little legs don't hurt any longer. His arthritist had gotten progressively worse over the last 2 years and I carried him quite a bit.

Rest in peace 'Lil man and I hope to see you again one day :)

Thanks from Angus's Dad !!

Thanks to all of you for your responses and believe you me it has been a very tough two days. I can't help but wonder if I did wrong in what I did, but my vet told me it was the best thing to do at the stage my boy was in and he was not going to get any better. I just feel so guilty about all this , to lose something you love so much. My friends tell me it's just a stupid dog, but as an avid dog lover , especially bulldogs and Angus being a major part of my life I don't think they will ever understand what it is to lose something that is dear to your heart.

Great Loss

I just want to le everyone who loves bulldogs that I have just lost my closest buddy of 9 years to cancer this morning. Angus was the most loyal friend and companion that you could hope for, on my heels at all times and would not leave my side. I slept on the floor with him last night and talked to him as he struggled with his sickness and told him I would not leave his side until the end, which i did this morning as I held him in my arms when he was put to sleep.

Carmine is 15 years young today!!!

Today is an epic day in my life.

Today my precious Frenchie, Carmine, was born.

Today, and everyday since he has graced me with his presence, has changed my life for the better.

Today Carmine turns 15!

Obedience help

Hello!  This is my first post here.  I have a 15 month old English bulldog named Gus.  I will note, he is like 1/4 beagle or something like that.  So he's getting older and is starting to settle down some, but I have several behavior issues and I would like advice on a series of training videos of the like that DO NOT endose positive reinforcement.
