Canna Raid (Bug)

Bug turned 3 months old on Saturday. Sunday he went Best Opposite at the Bulldog Club of Indiana's puppy match. He won the big bucket of goodies.

Genetics ?

I am relatively new at breeding and have many things to learn. When looking at pedigrees and certain lines, I see some dogs, mostly sires, show up quite a few times in a 5 generation pedigree and beyond. In these line breedings, how do you determine when to outcross? Also, is there a good, simple breeding computer program that will track what has been done and what you plan to do? The way some sires show up is hard to keep up with and to know what percent of that dog is in the line. Thanks for any help.

Following up with the health committee report in the newest Bulldogger. I have provided you the link to the OFA tracheal hypoplasia application form that has instructions for your veterinarian on how to do the x ray for submission.

A BIG brag & new puppies

I have a big brag from today..... our new show prospect, Mouser's Lydia Rose, won a 5 point major today under Judge Frank Sabella in Montana!!  The entry was 12-26-3-1.  Last week was her first weekend out and she was WB, BW, & BB over specials in Idaho under Judge Joe Tacker.  She is being EXPERTLY handled by Betsy Love and is off to a great start with 7 points so far!!  Thank you so much to the Mouser's for letting us own this wonderful bitch!!  She just turned 11 months old.

very IMPORTANT info from NAIA

A mathemetician from NAIA compares the Ca Healthy Pet numbers from Santa Cruz to those that are actually reported, by law to the state

very interesting differences!

BULLDOGS RANKED #25 ON THE BANNED BREED LIST????WTF??

List Of 75 Banned Or Restricted Breeds - Is Your Dog On The List?

The Responsible Dog Owners Of The Western States (RDOWS) has just updated the list of breeds that have been banned or restricted in the U.S.
All you dog lovers out there may just be in for a shock. BSL - or breed-specific legislation and breed discrimination- isn't just for pitbulls or Rottweilers anymore.

The RDOWS has tracked a list of 75 breeds of dogs that have been banned or restricted - yep - that's Seventy-five. That's 75!
