Hi everyone,
I'm new to showing and I have a 4 month old. I am considering showing her in Oct when she is 6 months. Should I take her out at 6 months or hold off? I really need the experience in the ring and it's close to home.

My husband (Calvin) and I are the chairs for the upcoming BCA National show week. Recently several posts made statements that I would like to address. First regarding dates chosen for the event...The SOP for BCA requires the National show to be run by the "National Show Guidelines". These are worked on and updated by the "BCA Guidelines Committee" any change must be approved by a vote of the Councilors at the Council meeting held annually at the National show. In the Guidelines, we are asked to try and have the show NOT on Thanksgiving.

There is a specialty show in Saint Paul tonight (time listed is 4:00pm-10:00pm) & I want to go watch...but I was looking closer & it looks like there is a cocktail hour at 5:00 followed by dinner at 6:00. So, are there actual shows tonight? If so, what time would you estimate the shows are?
Any help is appreciated!
