Squinting

Lilli woke up yesterday squinting with one eye. I looked and couldn't see anything in it. I put some eye drops in hoping it would wash something out if there were something there. As the day went on, she would open her eye more but it looked kind of cloudy. Same thing happened this morning. She seems to see fine. I put some puralube in thinking it might be somewhat dry.
She was fine Monday. Could it be the result of some allergy? She seems to be itching a lot today.

peeing when husband comes home after work....

Ok, Nacho is six months old. I have his morning routine down pat and weekends as well, I know when he has to go out and he tells me. The problem is, he is in our rec room downstairs all day while my husband and I work. Seems no matter what when hubby comes home he loses control of his bladder. J says he does not make a fuss over him at all and not sure why he does this? I limit his water during the day, he pees before we both leave the house, I leave puppy pads in the room as well.

Do u suggest a belly band for during the day???

Chester has hemivertibraes in his back...

we took him in because he was seeming stiff in his back and the vet xrayed him and he has some very deformed vertibrae in one spot in the middle of his back and a few not so deformed at the end near his tail. We're putting him on an antiinflammatory and we're going to curtail his roughhousing but other than that, I don't know what the options are. Our vet can refer us to an orthopedist (his name is Dr Bone is you can believe that), but I don't know if this can be surgically corrected or not.

Any "must knows" about traveling 16 hours in car (SUV) with a 1 year old bulldog?

We are looking to drive from Texas to Georgia with our soon-to-be one year old bulldog for Christmas. It will be about a 16 hour drive. Not sure yet if we'll do it in one day or spend the night somewhere in the middle. Is there anything I should keep in mind about the long car ride? Butler loves riding in the car already and doesn't get sick, but of course, that has really just been short distances so far. Anything I should know about a crate, heat/cold issues in car, medicines, etc.?

HELP!

Ok I really need help! Riley is our "Baby" hes almost 5 years old, we've had him since a puppy. We were robbed about 3 years ago and hes' had stranger issues. But that isnt really the problem, when he was a puppy we thought it was really cute when he would guard a toy between his paws and growl. Well at 70 pounds it isnt cute anymore and we have a 6 month old grandson, Riley really likes the baby's toys and you can imagine what could happen with this.

Question about Patterson

Hello, I just found this site and read a lot of posts and see great advise. I am wondering if I may ask a question and see if anyone has experienced this before with their dog. I have a 1 year old bulldog (Patterson). He has not had any issues to date but for the last month he has been walking really weird. It's almost like his legs are asleep. He holds them stiff and then after a short period he is fine. Sometimes its just an uncontrolable twitch. It last only a short period of time but happens randonly through out the day.

Hormones Test

Are progesterone and LH specie sensitive?.
Can these tests be performed at human diagnostic centers?

Dottie not eating or drinking

Hi all,

Dottie had her rabies shot (3yr) a week ago today. Yesterday she wasn't herself, weak, not eating and drinking water. I've been giving her water by mouth with a water bottle, but she won't eat. She is so weak that she just lays in one spot all day sleeping. I'm taking her in to the vet today to have her looked at. She also is on antibiatics for a skin allergy, which she won't take now due to being sick. Could this be from the rabie shot?

I'm soooooooooo concerned.

Thanks,
Maria

Natural Rearing

Hi Im new to the forum. I am looking to purchase a bullbaby from a natural rearing breeder. She feeds raw meat and nothing else and she also doesnt get the yearly vaccinations due to fear of over vaccinating. She give herbs and vitamins etc etc. No chemicals in anything that includes Flea and Tick meds. All of this sounds like great ideas and Im all for the raw meat diet but im a little worried about the no vaccinations.
