Amber...any news on your bulldog's NECK?

Hoping that its not the deep ear infection that I'm suspecting...with a partial or full canal removal needed. Maybe the drugs are working??

Can bulldogs tell time?

Spanky barks every morning at about 6am, regardless if we go to bed at 9pm or 2am. We adopted him about 3 mos ago and he is 8 years old. Does anyone else have this experience?

Head Tremors

Boris has had head tremors two days in a row. I seem to remember someone posting way back that peanut butter can help? My question is what causes the tremors and are they something to be worried about and what to do when they happen.

They started today while playing fetch with his kong.

Thank you.

Any disapointments.........allergy testing

So I am thinking of having Josie allergy tested. I would like to know others who have had tests and if you were satisfied with results, are some tests better than others, are there others?? etc... Josie has some skin issues that antibiotics don't see to help, and the food elimination/changes seems like a crap shoot at times. She is eating NB SP & Venison (w/yogurt and green beans)and does well with NO gas and good poops. Yes i said no gas, hallelujah!! tee hee Any experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, T & J

mack has hairs stuck in the roof of his mouth

this is so gross...macks breath has been really bad for a while and i have not been able to figure it out. i have been really good about cleaning the hairs from between his teeth and gums and yesterday while doing that i noticed that he has tons of hairs stuck in the gum folds on the roof of his mouth. i tried to wipe them out, but they are stuck in there. i took his toothbrush and tried to brush them out, not much success that way either(this caused a little bleeding)i even tried tweezers.

Help Dozer is sick!!!

Hi all,

Dog's hair is turning dark

I thought my Maybull was just dirty. She is fawn and white, with an entire fawn body. About 2 months ago, her hair turned dark on both sides of her ribcage. Its about the size of a softball. She is 4 years old. Has this ever happened before to anyone? Do I need to be concerned about something? Its very odd.

What to do?

We just got our 1st Bulldog. She is 3 yrs old and not spayed. She gets along great with my 4 yr old spayed Boxer. She does not get along with my 1 yr old neutered male. We just rescued the male Rottie 3 months ago. He had aggresion issues at first, but has not been aggresive for over a month. We did introduce them on a walk and the two walked together well. Yesterday my husband thought it would be a good idea to walk the bulldog into our fenced yard with the other dogs there. Everything was ok until they looked at eachother and all hell broke loose.

5 Year Old Bully with Swollen Right Cheek

Hi. I have a 5 year old bully with a swollen right cheek and neck. It first appeared on Thursday afternoon, and I thought maybe it was a bug bite so I gave him Benadryl. By Friday night, it had doubled in size and he was restless. So I took him to the emergency vet. She put a needle in it and said she really didn't see anything abnormal under the microscope. She couldn't figure out what it was, just gave him an anti-imflammatory (Metacam) and Simplicef.
