Donations for Webbie - repost

As you all read, Dave has to step away from the forums for medical reasons to rest his eyes. We are hoping he will be back to being our webbie in the future, but who knows if/when that will happen.

We want to thank him for 10 wonderful years of being the best webmaster on the www and we are collecting donations so we can send him an edible arrangement, which he loves, and a cash gift, which Heidi feels will benefit him the most.

bladder stones and vomitting

Help!

itchy anal area

Hi folks,

Quick question regarding anal glands. I had Dixie's anal glands cleaned Thursday, and she scooting again. The vet's assistant told me that she may have just slight irritation. Instructed me to use neosporin? Does that sound correct?

Untitled

We have 12 day old puppies that all weigh over a one and a half pounds each and are doing well. My question is when they nurse they keep pulling on the tit i have checked to see if there is still milk and there is im not sure what to think? They are now fedding every three to four hours and maybe think they are just really hungry? they all feed for about 25-35 mins each time.

Smell

Do your bulldogs smell? I have been thinking that Bobo smells because of his skin issues. He really reeks, you can smell him across the room and most of the smell is from under his neck, where the wrinkles and fold are. Because of his skin, he has a medicated bath every 3rd day and I keep him as clean and dry as I can. I THINK he might be getting a little better (knock on wood). I was told that he might smell because his skin is sloughing off and regrowing but frankly, I am not even sure that is happening.

does anyone use Oli-vet or other olive leaf extract??

If yes, what brand, where do you get it and are you seeing results??

do cooked chicken wing bones dissolve?

Dear all,

I posted last Sat. regarding Kibby accidentally eating a fried chicken wing ( she chewed it for about 5 secs before swallowing)...

Anyways, I have been watching her, feeding her bread w/oil, along with her regular food... and she has been pooing normally. Poo has been a little more solid, I think due to the bread.

I have been checking her poo, to see if I could find the bones, but I have only been able to find one small bone (the next day), the size of the tip of a q tip.... and nothing else?

Plastic bowl

I bought a plastic bowl with three cones molded in it to help slow Buddy down as he eats. It works wonderful, he even eats a little slower in his Stainless Steel pans now. But the plastic gives him a red mussle and a couple of pimples, Doc. says it's acne. Gave Bud some cephalexin, and I quit feeding him in it 2 day ago, gave first pill today and it is better. Wish I could get the bowl in SS, cause it's perfect for it's job.

Doesn't like to walk on a leash

We adopted 8 year old Spanky 3 months ago. He does not like to go for walks on the leash at all. In his previous home he had a big yard with a wooden fence and seldom walked on a leash. We have no fence, so he must go out to potty on a leash. He tends to just stand there and give me a look, as if to say..."Hey, I'm a bulldog! Why should I walk on a leash?"
