THE MEANING OF RESCUE

Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed,
All nicely tucked in my warm new bed.
I'd like to open my baggage
Lest I forget,
There is so much to carry -
So much to regret.
Hmm... Yes there it is, right on the top
Let's unpack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss,
And there by my leash hides Fear and Shame.
As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave -
I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain.
I loved them, the others, the ones who left me,

As I've said before, I just cannot stop thinking about him, so her email made my night! She said I could share with you guys...

She has a family lined up for him and they are helping out with his care already. He's going to be with Pam for a while while he gets better, but he's doing well!! He's surviving his mitaban dips 2/week and is now on Clavamox which appears to be working!

Hope all is getting better with George too

Hi, I was hoping that someone might be able to point me in the direction of a good breeder that has puppies currently available, or will soon. I've looked at the breeder referral page, and unless I missed something, none of the breeders within a 3 or 4 hour drive from Atlanta that are listed have any at the moment. My SO and I have been thinking about and researching getting a bulldog since last fall.

Hi everyone,

I spoke to someone yesterday and filled out an application. We would like to be considered for rescuing him. We have a wonderful Bullie Vet (Dr. Butchko) that could oversee his recovery. I was told they need to get him better and for me to turn in an application. We are in Los Angeles and would take the drive. Angus would love a brother. Oh and another thing they said that they would have to make sure that George would get along with another make bullie. Angus is not dominate he is such a sissy (ooo dont tell my husband I just said that).

Trying to figure out how to post a picture of Abbey. Will give it a try. If it works, this is my "pork chop" at age 10 weeks.
