Our local rescue person in the Chicagoland area is a wonderful lady named Jane. I know her personally. She has been helping with rescue for a long time and is very experienced.
I am going to email her now and give her this link and ask her to read what's been going on with him.
Hopefully she will reply on this site or email me back directly. She may be the one that should/will get Cody and help him.
Just got a call form patti and she said her com, puter was messed up and she could not get online. jacob please email me
Let's not forget...tonight he is with Ce. Last night he was alone outside in a thunderstorm...and tonight he is with our very best guardian angel.
He is receiving more love than he's ever known in his whole life and he is safe and warm.
Whatever else happens...he has already had one happy day that could not have happened without all of you.
I have mentioned that below, but it got kind of lost with the "anon" post mess.
Back when i fostered the abused and sick dogs...we would always give them new names. They DO adjust to new names, and i think it is so much better when there is nothing that reminds them of their old life and owner.
A new start. Who knows how many times his name "cody" was yelled at him in a rough voice and made him flinch...
How about...
"Cega"!
(spoken like Sega, only with a "C")
But last night through all the horrible storms Cody was kept outside in a box, with no where to go or anything. He was still wet from the rain when she went to pick him up this morning.

This is a picture of his chin from what we think is frostbite.
Here is a picture of his nose from the front.
Here is the sore on his belly.
about it. You gave up your Saturday to help this animal. You were even willing to give this animal a loving home but because his condition was worse then expected you couldn't. Don't beat yourself up YOU gave Cody more in one day than that horrible man did the whole time he had him.
