Gretta is the Alpha in our house (with our GSD..not us). Jenna (GSD) has no problem with it. Just trying to figure out Gretta's behavior when interacting w/other dogs.
She was attacked by a Lab about 1 1/2 months ago and started acting nervous around other dogs..on walks when she saw or heard another dog she would get anxious..all the fur on her shoulderblades and back would stand up and she would start "talking"..whining and growling..but as soon as she meets these dogs up close she is a sweetie..but very submissive.

my pups have hit 14 days now.....when is it alright to keep them with the dam.......when should I begin the weaning process......

I read your posts and I am truly offended. There is no need to call me hateful, narrow-minded OR an indian giver. I never asked for a refund. I REPEATEDLY said I am happy that Cody found a great new home. I think I was within rights to inquire. I say this, because I was unsure what happened...All I knew was Jane, Kristae, ce were all involved, and all of a sudden ce (who had been collecting money through paypal) has a $1500 dog,plus expenses. If everything is on the up&up, why is this even an issue.

Since I have posted several times I figured it was time I introduced myself. My name is Betty and I live in Jacksonville, Florida. I have one bulldog, Buddy, and one mixed breed, Mighty Dog. Buddy is 19 months old and I have had him since he was 4 months old. Mighty Dog is 6 years old and I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. I have wanted a bulldog all my life and finally have one and he has my heart. Since I've noticed a lot of you are young, I figured I best let you know right off the bat that I'm not :-)but I am young at heart.

I hope when I have time to get on the board in the morning I find that all the sick bullies are much much improved. Theo and I send get well hugs and kisses to each of you.

Ok heres my deal, the hubby and I had a house built this Oct. and we had a basement put in, needless to say our basement leaks we get about 3 inches of water coming through the floor each time it rains, and the builder has agreed to pay for a subpump to be installed in the floor to keep the water out of the basement, has anyone ever done anything like this what was your result?
