I was planning to attend, but decided against it for a couple reasons:

Divine intervention???...long, but worth it...

Hi all, was so into posting 'possum pics, forgot to relay 'peculiar' happening...
The night the tornado hit Jackson, MO, Arthur's school was having a basic obed. class. Around 8, the owner's wife called with news of impending storm and class was immediately dismissed. Larry had one dog that was a boarder for a few days, so he placed her in her crate, and placed a snap on the lower latch.
He got home and heard over his scanner that a white building in the middle of town was utterly demolished.

Animal shelter in Ohio needs assistance

Thought it wouldn't hurt to forward the attached message on in case anyone lives in the area and is able to help out. There aren't any pure-bred bulldogs listed but there is a pure-bred American bulldog, a bulldog/mastiff and bulldog/boxer mix on the list. The contact info for this woman is listed below if anyone is interested.

Thanks,

Angela

Another Diesel brag....

Diesel took another Best of Breed! yeah! This is our third weekend showing and he has two Best of Breeds. I am hoping to have his championship in one or two more weekends. This was our first outdoor show and it was difficult to deal with the heat. Diesel is a great breather but an even better sniffer!! He discovered something wonderful in the grass on the last day and I couldn't control him. No points that day I hate losing like that UGGHHH!! I guess we are going to have our bad days.

O/T...a Poo story...

I really think Anna's oatmeal/milk/honey Poo is a lifesaver! I ordered some for Gretta and was really impressed with the affect it has had on her...she has some skin issues and she has gotten major relief....

Food experts?!

Hill's Prescription Diet T/D. Heard of it and have experience with it? Know a product with similar ingredients and kibble size (rather large)?

Bob loves it, and has been real finicky lately (see Forum II). Looking for an alternative that is more readily available and hopefully less expensive.

Perhaps, Hill's Science Diet Oral Care Adult? Is this the same?

Thanks.

Gail........

Wonderful views from the guest room. I've always been partial to the Northern expanses. I am quite handy with fences, shotguns, and fishing poles. Got any golf courses in the area? One more year at the Post Office and I can retire. If you need a hired hand, I will send my resume post haste.

Thank you for your support of Fluff during her illness. She has been my fishing partner, protector, and camp companion on many excursions. I love all of our bullies but she is the ONE.

Thanks again, John M
