We were bored. It's raining again

Owning a pet these days can be a costly proposition due to great leaps in veterinary medicine and rising vet costs.

Just 10 years ago, euthanasia was considered the humane option for many owners, but now vets can take extreme measures to save a pet, and it can be expensive.

"You know, in the wee hours of the night God forbid there was some emergency and you have to bring her somewhere, something awful is happening. That stuff can be in the thousands of dollars,” pet owner Stuart Cottingham said.

Did he say anything about her size? I think she will be bang on the standard at this rate. She has so much growing to do though you never know what is going to happen. My female actually weighs exactly the same now at 3 years old as she did on her six month birthday and Tonka I think tripled his weight since he was 4 months old. He is a little on heavy side. Don't tell him I said that. He has a bit of a complex over the weight thing. He thinks I am starving him.LOL

Thanks for teh well wishes and prayers, they must have worked so far, still keeping an eye on him, his wbc is very slightly elevated, still some lower pain, but they dont feel any reason to operate on him, he did hold down some food and fluid. so we will just keep an eye on him for a few more days. one of those touchy situations.
