I've been away for a long time. Some of you regular long-time members may recall these crazy surveys we used to do on Friday nights. Well, it's Friday, and I'm bored, and it's been a while, so I thought I'd fire one up and see what kind of a reaction I get from the rest of you. As a little background, these are fun questions I dream up and share with you guys. You, in turn, if you choose to participate, just need to "copy" and "paste" the questions to a new post and then answer them.
I'm reminiscing about two sweet babies who rescued us last year!...
...My laptop is being weird, so I can only post ONE pik per post-----see second pik/ story in next post!
Sweeet. precious Daphne.....she was with us for NINE months!! We WANTED to adopt her, but absolutely could NOT due
to Sophie's and her EXTREME Alpha issues. Things got worse as the months went by to where they had
to be separated at ALL TIMES---when they ACCIDENTALLY got near eachother the last few times, they fought SO
wanted to tell you that my hubby Tony, Meaty, Sophie, Professor and I are
thinking of you and wishhh we could ((( hug ))) you in person, and like everybullly else,
if ONLY we could do something to help your grief, we would! How's your sweet
Nugget dealing with Dooley being gone? Sorry, I'm not familiar---is Nugget a doggie?
Kitty cat? Bird? Hamster? Hee hee........
....
Also, although I know missing Dooley is SO hard, especially at his young age and
I found a hard, black growth on our little girl's flank. Took her to the vet who is going to remove it today. He said he is pretty sure it is a melanoma. I'm looking for advice. Anyone who has had the same diagnosis for their beloved bully...I need to know the type of care provided for your bully. Porkie is 12 years old so I am pretty sure treatments are out of the question because of her age. Thank you.
Has anyone hear from Vicky to see how Sophie is doing?
My Dreadnought is 10 years and four months old so he is no spring chicken. Lately, he has started coughing and gagging in the evening. Sometimes he throws up his dinner and sometimes it is just water and a bit of kibble. The coughing started about a month ago but the gagging is new (about a week). He has always had a sensitive tummy but lately the throwing up has increased and the gagging is really got me worried. I an appointment at the vet on Monday but I am wondering if I should get him in sooner.
Sophie has a medium-sized (vet's words) mass on her spleen----it's about 2-3 cm around. I was NOT going to get upset, and just
pray that it's NOT cancer, and of course, it needs to be removed. Vet did NOT say anything for SURE about removing it yet---he's
going to call us back today (he just ultrasounded it yesterday)...
....
Welllll, now that I did some googling, I see that it COULD just rupture and she would hemorrhage to death.....NOW I am scared!
Our 8 month old bully "Gunner" has suddenly become a grazer of his food. After getting a new bag of the exact same puppy food we had always been feeding he stopped wolfing his food in a matter of minutes and only ate a little here and there. We bought another bag of the same food just to make sure there wasnt something "off" with the previous bag but his reactions was the same. He will eat but it may take him the entire day to clean his bowl. He continues to play and acts the same as always. Is this something that anyone has encountered with their dogs.
