So the vet prescribed Enrofloxacin, which I've been told is a pretty strong antibiotic. Fatboy is doing very well on it. A lot better than when they gave him cephalexin (he would throw up or have an upset tummy on this stuff). He's also been given Prednisone and Aller-Chlor. His breathing sounds a lot better. However now I see he's got greenish/yellowish gunk around his eyes, nose, and inside his folds. Can someone please tell me what this is? I've used a medicated shampoo in his folds, but it keeps coming back.
I can't figure out how to post pictures in either my signature or posts. The instructions in the FAQ doesn't help since I don't have the insert box or the tree icon anywhere. I emailed the tech support but got referred back to the FAQ. Any tips? Am I allowed to ask this here? No one seems to be on the tech forum anymore.
When I try I just end up with a link to my photobucket account, no pictures show up.
Thank you.
This morning I was cleaning stalls after turning my barn horses out. I heard a ruckus, looked to the back of the barn...and there they were. 4 of my younger horses stuffed into a 10x12 stall with the gate closed on them, and my lead gelding (whom they are all very leery of and frightened by) standing in front of the gate nibbling some hay I had dropped earlier. I couldn't stop laughing:-). Two of them are NOT small horses, they both weigh in at about 1200 pounds and are 15.1 hands high. The other two are a yearling and a 2 year old, but still not little babies!
