we lost Ms Sugar...i miss that old gal so much...i know that you guys would understand...its also my parents 57th wedding anniversary and its bitter sweet with dad he doesn't know what day or who we are...  :(

HELP! I just took both of my dogs off of the Benadryl and started the Claritin today... Can anyone give me some advice. We are also in the process of switching to grain free dog food.. I believe in my heart that it is the dog food that is making them itch so much, cause my other dog is still eating puppy food and she does not have a problem (knock wood). I gave them the 24 hour Claritin melt in your mouth tab - much easier then getting the Benadryl down. I am sure I will be going back to the vet this week too!

Maybull is transitioning to a new arthritis drug. They changed the dosage slightly on her bronchial drug. She seems to have a bladder infection which is being treated with antibiotics. She may have a pinched nerve to to spinal changes typical in an old dog. She's ignoring kibble and insisting on a bland diet (ground chicken or turkey with rice.) She was still spilling and falling but only when she first got out of bed, so I bought a rubber backed throw rug and put it next to her bed so she can got off the bed and not slip. So far, that seems to be working.
