Hi guys well you may think this is strange, but my 2yr. old bulldog is afraid of the dark and won't go poop at night. Now that it gets dark at 5:00 I take her out then and she goes but when I take her out at 10:00 she won't go. I have to put her in the crate at night so she won't go on the floor. What shall I do.

I am so in love with this little guy and thrilled he has celebrated another year with me! I am one happy mom! I call him "The Carminator"!

As many of you know, Rebel has hemangiosarcoma--a fast spreading and devastating cancer in his spleen. We are celebrating every day we get with him, but today marks day 189 since diagnosis. He was given 8-88 days to live and he has beaten the odds and made it 101 days past their initial estimates.

He is a little skinny and not as active, but he is in no pain and is still his snugly, booty wagging, bulldog self. We have had to make some pretty tough decisions, and we can only move forward knowing we made those choices out of love for our baby boy.

Here's an article about the Swedish American Institute, housed in a breathtakingly beautiful mansion in Minneapolis. They've re-done their kitchen to match 1908-1925. No bulldogs allowed in the museum.

It's melted, but it's a reminder that soon, I'll be digging out parts of the yard so she can do her business.
