Dog breeders thwart California pet neutering bill

SACRAMENTO, California (Reuters) - A bill that would have made California the first U.S. state to mandate neutering and spaying of dogs and cats was withdrawn by its author on Wednesday in the final legislative stages after fierce opposition from dog breeders.

Hello Bulldog Friends,

We hope you will all join us this Sunday, July 15, for the annual BCGS Fun Match, BBQ and White Elephant Auction at Roy & Linda Gasselsdorfer's home in Sultan, WA! The event kicks off at 12:00 noon with lunch, followed by the fun match. The silent auction will be on-going throughout the afternoon. according to local Sacramento news, Levine has stated publicly that he will withdraw his bill for the year after testimony as he does not have the votes. If he tries to bring it back in any form next January WE WILL BE READY!!

First, we lost Reece to a heart attack full term. Now it is with EXTREME sadness that I tell you that Inspir-a-bull's Extreme Makeover aka Ty has died. I feel like everything is against us at this moment.

Jim went outside to look for Ty as he thought I let him in and I thought he let him in. Ty had gone to the garden to either cool off or get into trouble. Frantically we looked. Ty's gone. 5 points until we were invited to Eukenuba!

Please pray for Jim as he feels he the death of two dogs on his head.
