Archived Bulldog Showing Competition

We are just now getting our heads above water! We have been finishing up with "Show stuff" (Marking and mailing catalogs, paying bills etc) Thank you so much for all the kind things you have said here about the show. I wanted to take the time to thank all the members and guests who attended this year's National Specialty in Spokane WA. We were a little out of the way, up here in the far northwest corner of our country, and so I appreciate all those who came and supported the show. The quality of the dogs presented was truley phenominal.

Here are the pictures we received yesterday of Apollo and littermate Venus from Nationals Week. We are very pleased with these two puppies.

Apollo went Best in Sweepstakes and placed every day in the large 6-9 month class. Venus placed two days, and made the cut in sweeps. We also entered Ami in the brood bitch class for Natinals day only, and she placed second with Apollo and Venus at her side. Thanks to the judges for seeing their qualities.

Saw a bulldog at a dog show this past weekend and the one lady was using a stripping knife on the dogs coat, does anyone here use one and do you use fine or coarse??

Congrats to Admirabulls Apollo (Ch. Glendars Sterne Prince Charles to Ch. Admirabulls Ami)!

Apollo (Bred/Owned/Handled by Michael and Patti Rathje, Co-owned by the Carrs) had a nice weekend at a small all breed show in Wilmington NC this weekend.

He went BOB, Group 3 and Puppy Group 1 out of the puppy classes BOTH days (earning one point each day). Now he has (2) points to go along with his nice showing at Nationals (Apollo won sweeps and placed in his class every day).
