grew up on the mainland in a little hole in the jungle ranch called Xcaret. When it was time for school the nearest was in Cancun so I lived there (just 40 minutes from Xcaret) until college when I decided to go to Massachussetts and experience seasons!

It doesn't strike me as a cult film either, but I was happy to see it get on a top something list anyhow, lol. They have it lumped in with movies like Hairspray, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and others you would expect to be classified as cult films.
someone suggested tallulah bighead and I really loved that name but she had such a complex. she was shy and acted skiddish and i just could not put Bighead on it...So to me she is Tallulah (beautiful) Ralls Avery.
Her K/C registered name is Kenzed Panda, she was already registered when I bought her. I named her Marilyn after the great lady herself. My mother in-law used to breed pursian cats and she would register each litter with a theme; one litter I remember, she named after the characters in a Charles Dickens novel. Julie.

would have an inferiority complex if she could see all these fancy names. Her name is 'Ruby Gem Stone'. After a birthstone and a cartoon character, go figure.
is Golden Rule Jolly Lucky Star. Golden Rule is the name of his kennel (like my old guy's name was Golden Rule Hello Charly, as he was from the same kennel). Jolly is from the 10th litter my breeder had, and Lucky Star is just a fantasyname, but coming true more and more. By the way, Lucky has a dutch pedigree, and this is a FCI-one (Federation Cynologique International).
By the way, I skipped the Jolly, when I registered him for obedience....

Lovely Leeloo sounds very feminine, don't need the Miss.
Or, how about J. Lo Leeloo?? j/k
Or, in honor of one of the most beautiful women of all time, who also was Mexican, "Leeloo Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption". Okay, too much, But I love Rita Hayworth, and a lot of people who saw the movie didn't realize that the full title of the Stephen King story that it is based upon is "Rita Hayworth And The Shawshank Redemption" -- the best prison escape EVER!! [and, according to this week's Entertainment Weekly magazine, one of the 50 all time best cult films!]
He is named after the famous poet and what my grandmother always called the sofa, "Get your feet off the Chesterfield!". So he's named after a poet and a couch. With Maxwell to honor his dad, Lena's Big Max.
Since Chester has yet to produce any poetry (except when he's poetry in motion, a lymerick!) we use Chester.

I didn't hyphenate either because in Mexico (where I'm from) everyone has 2 last names: paternal first, maternal second, and when women get married the maternal last name is automatically dropped (no choice in the matter!) and the husband's last name is added. So I went from being: Cristina Delgado Shelman to: Cristina Delgado Koski (I have no middle name)
I guess I should have given Leeloo a Delgado in there, oh well, I really go by Cristina Koski on a day-to-day basis, so that's good enough for me.

Lovely Miss Leeloo Koski
I really wanted something femenine, since people automatically thing she's a HE (I guess it's the sourmug) and I liked either "Little" or "Lovely" to have an "L" word at the beginning, but my mom suggested that she's not going to be little for long, so: Lovely. And Koski, my last name.
How did I do?

Cerjanikuss is a butchered phonetic creation of my maiden name and my husband's name. It was a long standing joke that I'd go from being Czech to marrying German and suddenly sounding Greek if I hyphenated.
So voila! Grover had to have it. Well, our first puppy was Cookie Monster Cerjanickuss. (And for what it's worth, I never did hyphenate. I took my hubby's last name. )
Spike was nameless, poor thing, and has no papers, so he's just plain ol' Spike or Spikey to the kids.
Truman was registered with the NGA (racing industry) and as I later found out was named "L.J. Simba". I would have kept the Simba had I known earlier, but he already responded to his new name.
Good luck on coming up with an official name, let us know what it is when you come up with the final one!
The breeder was calling him Dickie, and I didn't like that so on the drive home we (get this) passed a Septic tank truck (I'm bad I know) and I thought of Tank. Also we were in the build up stages to the Iraq conflict, so I wanted a "military" type of name. Cantankerous fits his mood sometimes, and CB are my hubby and my first initials.
It will come to you... I named him that because the breeder did not name him, she used to call him spotty boy and I renamed him Otis, so it was only right to put that on the akc papers... good luck!
