My name is Lisa and my husbands name is Raymond. We have been together for 7 years, married for 2. No 2 legged children, only our Hurley. When I met my husband, I had a pug named Pudge, she was my baby. She suddenly and unexpectedly passed away a few years ago and I was torn up. At that time, I also had 2 cats. We were lucky enough to have the option to get Hurley when she was 3 months old in 2008 and couldn't pass her up after taking about a year to be ready for another dog after losing Pudge.
The 2 cats weren't exactly thrilled but they got along ok.
One of the cats passed away later that year, he was 16 years old. And we had to put down the other cat a few months ago, she was 19 years old. So, that leaves us with only Hurley, who is the most spoiled pet we have ever had, she now runs the house, hands down.
We live just north of Dallas, TX and have lived in TX most of our lives. I work in product support for a property management software company and my husband is a network tech.
We look forward to someday being able to rescue a playmate for Hurley, but for now we are content with being a 1 bully family.
I joined BDW only a few months ago and enjoy it tremendously. I love looking at others pics and posting pics of Hurley.
I love the family feeling I get from the other members here. Please don't ever change!

What a great idea! It's been so neat to read about everyone!

My name is Niki, I'm 32 and I have been married to the love of my life for 8 years (been together over 10 years). Jer had always wanted a bulldog but I didn't have much dog experience and was a little apprehensive about them. My family had a mutt growing up but horses were my thing. We started our breeder research not long after we got engaged and a few months later we found a breeder. We brought Buddha home at 8 weeks and I've been obsessed with bullies ever since! Buddha is such a funny little guy and he makes us laugh everyday. I can't believe my little man is 8 1/2...the years have gone by so fast!

We live near Allentown, PA which is about an hour northwest of Philadelphia. I'm an executive assistant/site services coordinator for an opto-electronics company.

I have been lurking on BDW for the last few years and try to post when I can. I've learned so much from everyone...it's a wonderful place to visit!

Hey...we a Shar-pei before bullies entered our lives; I still think they're really cool dogs.

I am 31 years old. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 12 years. We are exactly 1 year and 1 day apart on our birthdays. I am a nurse and he is an industrial mechanic. We live in Burleson, Tx. I have lived in Tx all my life. We have 2 pugs: Abbey-2.5 years old and Max-2years old. Of course we have our bulldog, Maverick who is 9 months old. Plus we have our kitties Forrest-13 years old, Sassy-8 years old, Tallulah-5years old, and Kit-1.5 years old. We have a house full! To add to our craziness, we are adding another English bulldog to our household. We are getting a baby girl bully. She will be coming home to us on Friday! We are all so excited about our newest addition! I will post pics introducing her on Friday!

I'm 55 and have been married to my husband for 33 yrs. come April...and we STILL like each other (hehe!). We have 4 grown children...3 boys and a girl. I'm an RN but haven't worked in that capacity for a long time (too busy raising a family). I'm also an artist and love to work in various media using the bulldog as my subject matter; I'm currently working on the centerpieces which will be used at the banquet for the Bulldog National in October of this year.

We started out in bullies about 20 yrs. ago; actually, we had French bulldogs before we "got into" the bulldog. We got Bowzer 13 years ago (he passed away in 2006)and I knew that the bulldog was going to be my breed from here on out...I'm so totally smitten!

We currently have 4 bullies (3 boys and a girl...just like our kids!). The boys are solely our pets, so they're all neutered, but I am showing Eve now. I never in a million years would have pictured myself handling a dog in a show ring, but here I am doing it...and having a LOT of fun!

I am 31 yrs old and have lived in Southern NJ most of my life. My siblings and parents all still live in this area as well. I am married to Shawn who started the bulldog obsession. He always wanted one so right after we got married in 2002, Brock came into our family. He is moderately energetic, but mainly a big sweetie. I used to work in Human Resources until I got laid off last year, I plan to get back to work if I can ever find a job in HR Systems again. We have one daughter, Kaylise, who is now 9 months old. Brock is so entertaining to her, she can be in the middle fo a screaming fit and all he has to do is walk by and she burst into laughter. My husband Shawn used to be a big time powerlifter, but made the transition to arm wrestling late 2008. I did a few powerlifting competitions in 2005 and 2006 as well, but then I got sick of lifting heavy things lol. My husband who everyone assumes is just some big lug is actually a Mechanical engineer, he has responsibility for several plants all over the United States for his company.


I spend my days with my daughter watching her jump in her jumper or play with her 1000 other toys. I am also an ebay powerseller and sell tons of discontinued items online to earn extra income. I love salmon, sweet potatoes, strawberries and cherries to name a few of my favorites. I also love, but try not to eat Mint Chocolate Chip and cookies and cream breyers ice cream. I have only been out of the country three times and each time it was to Jamaica. I cant wait until my daughter is a little older so that we can start going places together and building memories!

But how could you help yourself, with those cuties??

Did you hear about the parade yesterday? About a thousand Saints fans who are mean dressed up like women and paraded from the Dome to the French Quarter. It was hilarious. Bobby Hebert, the Saints former quarterback, said he would wear a dress if the Saints got to the Super Bowl, and a whole bunch of others joined in. Actually, it was Buddy Dileberto, the late sportscaster and super fan who had said he would wear the dress, but sadly didn't live long enough. So to honor Buddy D, Bobby Hebert and the others picked up the mantle.

Those hairy boobs sure were ugly. I thought my hdtv might explode or something, lol.
