Royal Canin Bulldog 24

I have been seriously considering changing my bully's diet. Currently he is eating Pedigree Pro Plan Sensative Skin and Stomach (salmon and rice). He has been fed this since he was a puppy and I have been trying not to change it. He is now 6 and his skin is worse than ever. It gets very bumpy, dry and flakey only days after his baths (groomer and vet recommended shampoo). I am thinking that a change in his diet may help this. I have two questions.

Serious Concerns-Need thoughts

In the past year Montgomery (5 yrs old)had been diagnosed with laryngeal collapse stage 1. Eventually as the year progressed he started retching more while eating, otherwise basic panting when active and snoring while sleeping. Finally felt it was time to have his palette trimmed, and saccules resected along with his cork tail operated on (numerous infections). Surgery last week at a specialist and complication came up as he came out.

Stella's painful skin outbreak

Stella has a massive outbreak on her back of scabby sores. She's had this before during her life and it's usually been taken care of by a few weeks of antibiotics.

I took her to the vet's almost two weeks ago, and she has been on Calavaseptin (?) antibiotics plus a medicated shampoo, which I have given her once a week. My concern is this.

excessive biting

i have (2) bulldogs Otis who is 18mo and Jolie who is 10wks... Jolie is very aggresive towards Otis. She is constantly biting and growling at him. Is this normal with puppies towards older dogs?

Conflicted about Previcox

I have a 6 month old Bulldog and she developed a limp a couple of weeks ago. So, I took her to the vet and the vet thought it was patellur luxation and put her on previcox with a dosage of half a tablet a day. After the 3rd day she had quit limping, but her leg made a popping nose like you pop your fingers noise intermittenly as she walked also she was bad sick and vomitted on the 3rd day and did not want to eat. I called the vet who told me take her off of previcox for a couple days.

progesterone and breeding

When using fresh chilled semen and progesterone testing, how many times do you normally breed? I was thinking of twice, a day a part. Does anyone do something different?

I have read that at 2.5 ng ovulation should occur within 24-48 hours. But to wait to breed 48 hours after the 5ng mark. Is that your understanding?

Here's my plan:
day -1 = 2.5ng (let stud owner know aproximate date of breeding)
day 0
day 1 = 5ng 0vulation
day 2
day 3 = breed
day 4
day 5 = breed again

Head shakes help!

Last night my bullie kept shaking his head and pacing all night long. He will be 4 years old in November. He has been eating TOTW for about 6 months and has done well on it. Is it that his blood sugar is low? Do I need to give him green beans and carrots? Help I am a paranoid mom!

Anyone know anything about Fibrosarcoma???

I have a beloved 3 year old English Bull Dog, Guinness. In August of 2008, i found a lump on his left hind quarter and we had it removed to be biopsied and it came back positive for cancer, Fibrosarcoma. After the biopsy was done, i took him to an Oncologist and was told that his clean margins looked great and there was less than a 10% chance it would return. In Jan of 09 it had returned in the same area as i told it would if he it came. We had that one removed as well. Took him for a follow up and was told that they had gotten it all.
