What causes a female to absorb her litter? We have a female that was sonogramed with several pups at 30 days. Day 63 no pups.

My 10 year old girl Lily last night run to my husband after he came back home, she usually gets very excited...then she just dropped on the ground, flat on her side not being able to get up for a while. I did not see her fall, my husband said "something happened to Lily" I ran to her, she was just flat on the floor, breathing but not moving. I picked her up gently and moved her to her bed, after a couple of minutes she picked up and was OK. I am very concerned, I am going to see the vet.

I am learning things I never even considered about nutrition! Audrey has always had a yeasty-stinky face, right under her eyes in that deep wrinkle. She had terrible tear stains and I started using Angel's Eyes, which cleared up the tear stains and most of the smell. Her eyes still run constantly so her face is always wet, and if I don't wash it at least every other day it does smell, but still not that really strong smell it used to have.

I bought some new buscuits here today called

they are grain free
100% fresh meat, select fruit and select vegetables.
they are turkey with duck formula
GUS TOTALLY LOVES THEM
the first treat that is dry that he will eat..
so I am more then excited

they say that are prodcut of Canada..
so not sure they are available in the US
but if you see them..give them a try

Maizy has had a swollen eye for a couple weeks. She has been to two different vets. They have ruled out a scratched eye and they were told that her "third eyelid is inflammed" She been on an eye ointment (cant remember the name) but whatever it is hasnt helped. The eye itself looks ok, but her eye in the outside is pink, and it look as if she isnt able to open it. Any suggestions?????

I have heard that dogs gets salmonella as easily as humans, so how do you avoid it with a raw diet? Does cooking really negate the benefits of buying your own meat for your dog?

Hey all. Tank was recently diagosed with Giardia. He's on medication but right when he got home from the vet we noticed his right eye was drooping more, or the tissue on the bottom of his eye seemed more apparent, almost like it was popping out a little. This is a new development and a contrast to his left eye so we got worried. Any ideas what this could be and if it merits a vet visit? I tried to take a picture but its not great.

I need to switch my girl from puppy to adult food and am SO confused with so many choices! What is TOTW I keep seeing recommended here?
