I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, Jim. Having gone through the loss of our beloved bitch, Abby, we know what you're experiencing. But those babies will pull you through the next few weeks. You can do it. We did the tube feeding, the burping, the pacifiers, thanks to the encouragement and expertise of many bulldoggers. It won't bring Reece back, but you will be busy, too busy to second-guess or have regrets. And I hope and pray there is a little Reece II in there someplace for you. Again, I'm so sorry.

hope those babies stay strong and well--they sure look like fat little grublets! I lost a bitch with 8 pups several years back--but we also lost the pups, none ever came around So, many of us know your pain.

We are so sorry for your and the Rzonca's Loss of your girl .

So far so good. nearly 24 hours later and 6 are still with us. A little scare with the big boy last night as he had some fluid on his lungs, but was able to suction it out and he is doing better.

Thanks for all the prayers, thoughts, kind words. Its great to know that you all are out there to help us release and emote our feelings to. Its too bad we all dont live next door to each other to be able to help/hold each other up directly rather than over the net. Imagine-Bulldog Estates!

Our thoughts are with you on this very sad time,know that you are in our thoughts for those babies to thrive. So so sorry.

to hear about your loss. I saw your previous post with Reece's pics on her 55th day of her pregnancy and how you were looking to have 4th of July babies. Like everybody else I was happy for you and the pups you were about to receive. It is so sad and tragic what happened to Reece, she was a beautiful girl. At least you were able to save the 6 pups, a bitter sweet moment indeed.

I was looking at that pic today....soooo jealous of your big preg girl....one of my girls reabsorbed and we found out yesterday, on day 63....I have been so sad, but cant imagine what you are going through...this breed is so heartbreaking, cherish the good times and hold them near in times like this.
